A major retrospective of the artist's career entitled aux couleurs du jour was presented at the Musée national des beaux-arts de Québec in the fall of 2003 until the spring of 2004 under the direction of Anne-Marie Ninacs.

It annoys him when people try to interpret his work. According to Rita Letendre, life is more than what we see.
