Still Life with amphora
Still life is a favorite subject for the artist. In his studio in the Montparnasse district of Paris, an intense period of creativity began for the artist. In 1951, Beaulieu created the still life with a yellow bottle, which would be the first work by a Canadian artist to enter the collection of the Musée national d'art moderne in Paris.
