Ghent Belgique

From 1957 to 1961, the Bobaks spent most of their time overseas, thanks to a series of grants from the Canada Council for the Arts allowing them to work in England and Europe. Using London as their base, the Bobaks travel around England and the continent, and Molly draws every day. Some of his drawings would serve as studies for future oils and some prints, including scenes from Florence and other European cities. Wherever the couple travels, Molly is influenced by the changing scenes around her.
