Flowers and smoking pipe
Between 1950 and 1955, Jean-Philippe Dallaire was passionate about still life and more specifically bouquet. Dallaire thus produced a variety of gouache works for which he applied the rules of cubist composition. These are noticeable by the forward position of the table, the arrangement of objects all around the bouquet, and the contrasting application of warm and cool tones.
