"A flock of snow geese is order in disorder", said Jean-Paul Riopelle.

From 1976, the great snow geese were added to Riopelle's bestiary [...] He was fascinated by their migratory passage of more than 75,000 at Cap Tourmente, upstream from Quebec. The experience seized Riopelle to such an extent that he sometimes returned to it in his later works,
