Foudre royale
Jean-Paul Jérome founded and signed the Manifeste des Plasticiens alongside Jauran, Fernand Toupin and Louis Belize. From 1956 to 1958, the painter stayed in Paris where he rubbed shoulders with artists such as Giacometti, Vasarely and Mortensen. From 1953, he focused his work and research on geometry and shapes. He would later say: "You have to work on the shapes, the color, the textures, the line, but also their relationships, to finally achieve perfect shapes in a perfect order. »
