Claude A. Simard was a multi-talented artist. Claude A. Simard, passionate about visual art as well as graphics, was the founding member of the Society of Graphic Designers of Quebec and is the author of its code of ethics. He combines his passion for art with that of botany, which he cherishes so much. In 1991, the artist presented his works at L’Orangerie in Paris. In Bouquets en été, he finds his inspiration in gardens, which are constantly renewed in images and colours. Gardens are for the artist a means of perceiving life as an art of living.
