Coloris d'automne

Bruno Côté's art is meant to educate and teach us how to see and feel. Instead of creating a realistic representation of his model, he offers an interpretation of reality based on the emotions aroused by the majestic nature he portrays. Côté is widely recognized as one of the best landscape painters of his generation. This excerpt is taken from the catalogue of The exhibition Bruno Côté - The Spirit of Nature which was presented at the Musée d'art contemporain de Baie-Saint-Paul from October 2015 to February 2016, curated by Martin Labrie.
