Le peintre. série des pères noël

This screen print is taken from the artist's book, Santas including ten prints by Alfred Pellan and a text by Claude Péloquin. It is printed by the Guilde Graphique de Montréal in 100 copies. This first collection produced between the poet Peloquin and the painter Pellan marked a long and enriching collaboration. The book “Les Pères Noël” was created in 1974-75, the two artists then continued with the collection Pellan-Pellan in 1976, Le cirque Sacré in 1981 and Délirium Concerto in 1982.
