Born in Montreal, Jackson has an attachment to the landscapes of his native land and although he undertook numerous expeditions across Canada, he painted a multitude of landscapes inspired by Quebec nature.
This work was created in the 1960s by Jackson. He paints regularly and always travels in the Gatineau region and the Outaouais.
