Harold Thomas Beament

Thomas Harold Beament (July 23, 1898 – May 13, 1984), also known as Harold Beament RCA, was a Canadian artist who served as an Official Second World War artist with the Royal Canadian Navy. He held the highest service rank of Commander of any Canadian artist in the Second World War. Beament was known for his realistic depictions of landscapes and figures in landscapes, which some authors have described as "descriptive realism".
