Betty Baldwin

Betty Baldwin was born in Leeds, England on January 7, 1889. She grew up in an artistic environment and began drawing at a very young age. She lived in Paris for years, then immigrated to America. She settled first in New York, then in Portland, in the State of Maine and then moved permanently to Quebec in 1924. Betty Baldwin exhibited her works several times in the foyer of the Palais Montcalm in Quebec. His paintings represent the city of Quebec and particularly Old Quebec, in a bucolic and charming light. She also teaches painting in her studio at Maison Louis-Jolliet in Quebec.
She died in 1981. -
