Nérée de Grâce

Canadian painter and illustrator
Neree de Grace was born in Shippagan, New Brunswick in 1920. He studied at the École des beaux-arts de Québec. He founded his screen printing and advertising business. He devoted himself entirely to painting from 1977.
He illustrated several works by Antonine Maillet and Canada Post retained one of these works "The village of Shippagan" for the edition of a stamp.
The artist died in 2002.
