André Fournelle

Quebec sculptor
Artist sculptor from Quebec born in 1939. André Fournelle is a self-taught artist who acquired his talent through reading and experimental research. He began his work in 1963 and worked in an industrial foundry in Montreal. Then in 1967, he installed a foundry in Pierrefonds alongside artists Pierre Leblanc and Armand Vaillancourt.
He left for Europe with Marcelle Ferron to study the new alloys between glass and metal.
In the 1970s he was part of the EAT (Experiment in Art and Technology) group founded by American artists Robert Rauschenberg and Robert Whitman
